Paytm becomes first app to offer NEFT, IMPS, UPI, wallet and card payment
People with current account will be able to transfer up to 50 lakhs
Corporations and entrepreneurs (who have a checking account) using Payment Paytm Bank will now be able to pay Rs 50 lakh per transaction at any time on any day.
All the major payment methods are present on Paytm
Satish Gupta, MD and CEO Paytm Payment Bank, said that all the major modes of payment available in Paytm and Paytm is the only platform where users can pay with the help of NEFT, ARMPS, UPI, wallet and cards. With the increase in rupee limit per transaction, expected that more users will use Paytm.
NEFT facility is available seven days a week
From December 6, the NEFT facility for online transactions already available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. According to the statement of the Reserve Bank, under NEFT transactions can be done every day including holidays.
What is NEFT?
NEFT is used for transactions up to two lakh rupees over the internet. Through this money can be sent from any branch of the bank account to the bank account of any branch. The only condition is that the sender and receiver are required to have internet banking service. If the two accounts of thOther payment apps like PhonePay and Google Pay in the country give a transfer limit of only 2 lakh rupees per transaction.
